The CD was recorded for the 30th anniversary of the orchestra. The common thread of the pieces was exclusively Slovenian music, due to its specific sound in the mandolin interpretation, which makes it unique in Slovenia as well as in the rest of the world. The CD includes a wide variety of music works: from traditional to authorial, from orchestral to solo, from sweet melodies to lively dances. Many authors and performers of classical, pop, rock and ethno music helped with the recording of the CD and thus contributed to its diversity.

The CD was recorded for the orchestra's silver jubilee. It includes eight pieces, which were, at the time, part of the orchestra's standard repertoire. They are all works of contemporary authors; most of the pieces contain a strong traditional note, inspired by rich folk music from all over the world.
